Short bio
Sarah completed her Bachelor studies in Innsbruck wrote her Bachelor thesis about quantum vortices in Bose-Einstein condensates, supervised by Manfred Mark. During her Master studies with a specialization in quantum science, she got to know the Erbium Lab during an internship . In February 2025, she defended her Master thesis on “A new scanning optical dipole trap and towards optical potentials for erbium using q-plates”, supervised by Francesca Ferlaino. She started the PhD in the Erbium Lab in February 2025.
