German Conference of Women in Physics

In 2026, the Deutsche Physikerinnentagung will be hosted by the Rheinland-Pfälzische Technische Universität (RPTU) Kaiserslautern-Landau. The scientific focus is on solid-state, bio-, and spin physics, as well as photonics and quantum technologies — alongside contributions spanning physics from elementary particles to cosmology.

The scientific programme is complemented by careers-in-industry events, soft-skills workshops, and networking opportunities with representatives from industry and research. The conference is supported by the Working Group on Equal Opportunities (AKC) of the Deutsche Physikalische Gesellschaft (DPG).
